The Masked Singer is FINALLY back! And if the costumes are any indication, season 9 will be the best one yet. And one of those costumes stampeding onto the stage for the premiere will be the Mustang. This fierce and not-too-lightly bedazzled horse also has some impressive vocals to boot!
So who is the celebrity underneath the Mustang mask? Let’s take a look at the clues we have so far.

In her clues, the Mustang is at a carnival. She starts by saying she’s “sold out arenas…won awards…and even collaborated with Elvis!” We see her playing a ring toss game, then receiving a bucket of soap as a prize. But she’s had her “fair share of pain” and has almost died more times than she can count. There’s thunder and lightning in the air.
Mustang mentions that she’s a survivor and “Hell on heels” as she lifts two barbells. Every time she’s counted out, she comes back stronger than before “with [her] herd by [her] side.” She’s seen with two of the men in black. Mustang then walks up to a nest with a robin and three eggs in it. After her performance, we got one more clue in a swag bag, a magazine with her on the cover titled “Most Beautiful People.”
Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Mustang
Ken thought it might be P!nk because of the Most Beautiful People clue. Robin guessed it could be Suzanne Somers, which Jenny also fueled the fire on. Nicole, on the other hand, thought it might be someone from a group like Ann or Nancy Wilson from Heart or Chrissie Hynde from The Pretenders. Online, the majority of fans predicted either Sara Evans or Jennifer Nettles, after hearing the country twang in her voice.
